Solution:

IATM aims to provide a solution to manage all assets oforganization which can be tagged using RFID.

Design process

After understanding the needs and objectives of IATM, for this project we decided to follow the Design Thinking process. Westarted collecting data by observing users managing respective assets in their daily tasks and then proceeding with contextual interviews. Once we identified the problem to be solved, we moved on to conceiving possible solutions. We have created prototypes to be tested. Once tested we implemented and so on.

Research

To begin the analysis, we have decided first to check in market if any available platform exist to track assets. But in the open market there is no tool available for the same. For this project we decided to use User Research, observing users, a process during which it was essential to identify a suitably diversified sample of users for planning Contextual interviews, as we wanted to capture a whole management system of assets gettingused and distributed among employees in the organization to find the assets used and types of users.

Pain point

During the research we have develop the following consideration:

No Centralized record system.
Duplicate assets tracking found due to manual error.
-Missing assets report are not maintained properly.

User Persona

From research and interview, we have concluded that most users complain about the same pain points. We represented them using personas.

Solutions

Starting from the pain point we came up with possible solutions.

All Data record is manage in the centralized in cloud storage and can be accessed using dashboard reports.
All assets will be tracked using RFID tag, hence no duplication is possible.
Notification generated in case of assets not returned to the inventory on designated date.
